About Us

Mission: Caldwell Arts Council’s mission is to encourage and maintain an awareness, appreciation, and celebration of art in all its forms.

Our Vision: Focusing on the 'ARTS' in our community, we will:
- Align our work with other arts organizations to provide outstanding art experiences.
- Represent and promote all forms of art through exhibitions, festivals, and events.
- Teach and educate the various forms of performing and visual arts to all ages.
- Seek advice from those we serve and strive to bring more of the art they enjoy into their lives.

Since 1976, the Caldwell Arts Council has presented and promoted high quality arts programming in Caldwell County. We offer many programs including art exhibitions, Caldwell Junior Appalachian Musicians, Artist in Schools, Foothills Veterans in Art, the Senior Citizen Dulcimer Program, grant administration to area artists and arts-related organizations, and more. As a nonprofit organization, the Caldwell Arts Council is funded by a combination of support from the North Carolina Arts Council, corporate and private donations, grant funding, foundation support, fundraising events, and program income.
